4 Connection and placing
1) First connect the suction cup to the bottom buckle of the reactor, then place the reactor on the lower side of the filter outlet (do not place it at a faster flow around the inlet to avoid affecting the effect.)
2) Insert the Doctor Mate IC into the base and place the base on the outer wall of the aquarium along the appropriate position (you can select the corresponding buckle according to different glass thickness)
3) Plug the cable of the reactor into the power output port of the Doctor Mate.
4) Plug one side of the DC cable into the power inlet of the Doctor Mate IC and connect the adapter to the DC cable.

6 User Guide
1) For new setting aquarium, install the product after 3-5 days after removal debris completely.
2) For existing aquarium set over 1 month, install the product after removal algae and debris completely.(lt is only for the function used for aquatic plants, and there is no such requirements for other functions.)
7 Matters needing attention when the aquatic plant tank is first opened. (It is only for the function used for aquatic plants, and there is no such requirements for other functions.)
1) After setting 1 day—Dense planting & Remove dusts
•High dense planting with aquatic plants is essential to make a healthy and fancy aquarium.
•If dust generates during setting, removing dust by draining or exchanging water is necessary.
•Changing water is in accordance with guideline by soil manufacturer.
2) After setting 3 to 5 days—Installation Doctor Mate
•At the initial stage, because of rich nutrition from soil, from the 3rd day algae will germinate and from the 10th day, it will be visible with the naked eye.
•To inhibit algae from the beginning of germination, it is recommend to install Doctor Mate in setting+5days or 10 days at the latest.
3) After setting 6 days—Put algae Eater, Yamato shrimp & Siamese Although Doctor Mate's effect on green algae is over 80%, to remove green algae completely, put aquatic animals eats algae
By putting these animals at this period, even beginner aquarist can make a perfect aquarium without green algae.
4) After setting 8 days —Injection of Carbon dioxide
Aquatic plants start taking their roots normally from the 6th days after setting, apply CO2 little at first, and then increase the amount gradually.
8 Cleaning and replacement of reactor
1) The reactor is a consumable which needs to be regularly replaced, it can be used for 6 to 12 months according to the instructions of this product (the service life of reactor may be reduced due to the differences in water quality and component concentrations of liquid medicine put in it). Please purchase reactors separately based on the practical conditions to keep certain properties.
2) Cleaning method of reactor: put 10grams of citric acid into 50m1 of purified water and attenuate it, put the reactor completely into the water and steep for over 2 hours, then scrub the peripheries of the plastic with soft sponge, as special coating film is used on the metal net besides the plastic, please do not wash the part of metal net.
9 Attentions
Caution: this product is only suitable for aquarium of fresh water with capacity of 125 liters or less; it is forbidden to be used in aquarium of sea water; it is forbidden to be used in the water with the TDS of over 500; please do not use this product in the breeding tank with high breeding density, and it is strictly prohibited to be used for other purposes!
1) Please disconnect the power supply when installing, maintaining this product or changing water for the aquarium, please carefully read this instruction before installation, and conduct operations and applications according to the requirements; please pull up the battery socket if it is not used for a long time.
2)This product can only be used for indoors AC of 100-240V-50/60Hz.
3)Please do not use the doctor IC and power supply of this product under the water, if the main engine is dropped in water due to carelessness during the use procedures, please immediately disconnect the power supply. Please guarantee that this product is completely dry before using this product once again.
4) Please first observe and confirm the living beings for several days when setting the product (including aquarium fish), if there is death in the living beings when observing once again, we will assume no liability for it.
5) Please do not wash the metal net part of the reactor.
6) Please do not put hands into the aquarium after the power supply is connected.
7) Do not throw the product hard or inflict gravity on it; please do not privately disassemble this product or use it incorrectly.
8) Children or personnel with weak body, sense organ or mental competency and those that are lack of experience and knowledge should not independently use this product or conduct other operations.
9) If the cables or power supply is found damaged, please do not continue using this product before changing the damaged assembly units. Only original assembly units of chihiros can be used for this product.
10) This product does not always keep the running status, it will automatically operate based on the capacity of the aquarium.
