Common knowledge of helmet maintenance
1、 Maintenance of helmet surface
Compared with the inside of the helmet, the helmet surface is more likely to be dirty, so wiping the surface is often done. In case of any stains on the helmet, first wipe the stains with a wet cloth, and then rub them with the water wax or polishing wax used for car cleaning to make the helmet feel bright. Also can use helmet special brightener, its effect is better.
2、 Cleaning of helmet interior
When the helmet is used for a long time, there will be dirt and odor inside the helmet. In this case, it should be cleaned. It is better to use neutral detergent and shampoo. In order to avoid the odor left by the cleaner, its usage should be controlled. Don't use too much force to wash the inside of the helmet. Otherwise, the cushion material will be deformed and its buffering function will be lost. After cleaning, wipe off the moisture with a towel or paper towel.
Note: it should be placed in a well ventilated place for natural air drying. Never use a blower.
3、 Maintenance of helmet goggles
Since the goggles are transparent devices, be careful when wiping them. When cleaning the goggles, add neutral detergent into the water, rub it by hand, and then thoroughly clean it with tap water, and then dry the water with soft cotton cloth or paper towel. Finally, the outer surface is rubbed with wax or antistatic agent, which can reduce the adhesion of dust and accelerate the flow of rainwater.
