1. According to the connected device to distinguish which mode it is in, for example, when two signal source devices(DVD/PS3/fire TV) are connected, they are in Model 1; when two display devices(TV/monitor) are connected, they are in Model 2.
2. The height of the button determines which HDMI signal/output to switch to.
Eg: When the button is pressed (when the button height is low), HDMI1 is selected;Otherwise, HDMI2 is selected.
3. Our switcher does not support automatic switching, it is completely based on the selection of the button to determine the selected signal source/TV. (For example, if the button is in the”pressed”state, after you connected two input sources and a monitor, the signal of source 1 is selected by default)
4. Our HDMI port does not support connecting audio equipment directly.
1. Model 1(The two HDMI Sources are connected to a Display)
Output device black screen /output device splash screen
(1) Since the product doesn't have an independent power supply, it may be that the power supply of the input source is insufficient. It is recommended to power on both input devices at the same time.
(2)It may be because the resolution of the input device is too high, it is recommended to lower the resolution of the input device.
(3)It may be because the connecting cable is too long or the quality is not good enough. It is recommended to replace with a shorter or better quality cable.
2. Model 2 (One HDMI Source is connected to two displays)
2.1 Black screen when switching output
1) When the two TVs configurations are different
Eg: When the Output is one High-end TV and one low-end TV. if you want to switch froma high- profile TV to a low-profile TV, since the low-profile TV may not support
HDR4K60hz/3D/1080p/1080i, resulting in a black screen. It is recommended to adjust he resolution of the input source before switching.
2) When the two TVs have the same configuration
A. It may be because the connecting cable is too long or the quality is not good enough. It is recommended to replace with a shorter or better quality cable
B. It may be because the input source resolution is higher than the two TV resolutions,it is recommended to lower the input source resolution or switch to automatic mode
2.2 The output resolution doesn't reach 4K60HZ
Generally, our products support 4K60HZ, which may be because the input device or output device does not have 4K60HZ, or because the 4K60HZ of the input device is in the YUV4: 4: 4 format, and the output TV is in the 4K60HZ YUV4: 2: 0 format. As a result, the input source can only reduce the resolution to output.
